About Workshop
To educate and teach women of all ages to value their bodies, speak their truth, set boundaries, and recognize the red flags of unhealthy relationships. Participants interact with each other on both an emotional and a cognitive level in the presence of one or more facilitators. The aim is to provide an environment in which problems and concerns can be shared in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. Group setting seeks to enhance self-respect, deepen self-understanding, and improve interpersonal relationships.
This trauma-informed intervention is intended to end intimate partner violence in current relationships and prevent intimate partner violence in future relationships by empowering participants. The hope is to create a safe space to develop healthy sisterhood relationships as support networks.
